Use an owner/admin account and choose the report that owns the question. Learning progress and sales answer different questions, use different source records, and should not be combined into a judgment about an individual learner.

## Choose the correct report

- **Creator console → Courses** shows the course inventory, health/indexing status, and owner review actions.
- **Classroom → Student progress** shows enrollments across courses and supports course, completion, certificate, and search filters.
- A course's **Student progress** page narrows the same review to one course.
- **Classroom → Course sales** shows the available overview, analytics, reports, insights, exports, reconciliation controls, and affiliate attribution for the selected period.

## Review learning progress

1. Confirm the community, course, page, and active filters.
2. Compare progress percentage with completed/total lessons, quiz attempts and average score, enrollment status, and certificate state.
3. Treat a zero, blank, or stale signal as a prompt to verify the enrollment and published course revision—not proof that a member did no work.
4. Open an individual record only for an approved support, teaching, or compliance purpose.
5. Export or print only the minimum necessary data and store it under the applicable retention policy.

Search results can expose names and email addresses. Do not include the table in Help, public posts, broad chat channels, or an unredacted incident screenshot.

Resetting progress or removing an enrollment is destructive. Confirm the exact member and course, explain the effect on lessons, quizzes, certificates, access, and reporting, then use the confirmation control once. Do not use those actions to correct a reporting delay.

## Analyze and reconcile course sales

1. Set the date range and course filter before comparing totals.
2. Distinguish sales count, gross revenue, refunds, fees, net revenue, affiliate commissions, and recurring value wherever the report exposes them.
3. Review validation warnings before exporting or sharing a total.
4. Compare Clases with the payment-provider record using the same currency, time zone, and settlement window.
5. Use reconciliation for a defined discrepancy; record the filters, provider identifier, result, and reviewer.
6. Export only the filtered report needed for the approved purpose.

Analytics and insights can show association, not causation. A campaign, affiliate, cohort, price change, or course revision should be evaluated against its launch date and a comparable window before acting.

## Troubleshoot safely

If a report is empty or surprising, confirm owner/admin access, the route, locale, filters, date range, enrollment or payment status, and whether the source action completed. Refresh once. Preserve a redacted screenshot and the relevant enrollment, transaction, run, or reconciliation identifier before escalating.

Never create fake purchases or learner activity to populate a report. Do not repeatedly reconcile, refund, reset, remove, or export while the first action is still pending.
